Customer Review: Okay, but only for certain chairs.
I bought this because it was such a great price and my daughter loved the color. I thought, "How different can booster seats be? And why should I pay $50.00 bucks for one?" Well, we have cushioned chairs with vintage plastic covered chairs, and these plastic boosters "cut" right into the cushioned upolstry in a really bad way. I refuse to destroy my chairs to pay less for a booster. I went out and bought the ultra-expensive cushioned boosters with flat, soft bottoms to protect my chairs. If you have any cushions on your chairs or upostered chairs, this is not for you. I still gave them three stars however, because I gave them to my in-laws and they work pretty well on their hard wood chairs. On the other hand, I'm still concerned about the hard, sharp plastic edges scratching the seats of their chairs.

I looked all over town for a seat like this & found nothing. What I was almost forced to but was almost 3 times more & not what I needed. This is a great seat!!
